Waxi is a visual brand identity that came to life during an upper division graphic design course at the University of Tennessee. The aim of this brand was to create a candle that offered consumers something beyond just another household item to add to the growing pile of home decor. The brand aims to reduce waste produced by discarded empty candle jars by creating a system in which consumers can reuse candle vessels by refilling the wax instead of disposing the containers after a single use. Waxi aims to provide a fun and innovative solution for reducing waste by transforming the concept of an everyday household item into something more interactive while also being sustainable.
